Winston Duke turned 2 months old on April 20th. His 2 month check-up was the next day, so he got 3 shots and an oral med as well. He weighed in at 13.6 lbs (82%) and 25.25 inches long (99.875%), and his head measured at 16 inches (92%). He's a big, growing boy!!! His 2nd month, he found his voice! That's probably the biggest difference. He coos a lot now, especially when he is laying on the changing table. He loves to goo and gaa at us, and it makes us melt every.single.time. :) He loves to cuddle, loves to be rocked, smiles a lot, will do tummy time for about 5 minutes at a time, loves to kick his legs, is grabbing at toys above him, and is getting stronger everyday. He sleeps from about 8:30pm to 7:00am which is awesome! He doesn't take as long of naps as he used to, but his naps usually range from 45 min to an hour and a half between each feeding. He loves movement so if he's in the carseat or stroller he needs to be moving or he gets a little angry. He is really recognizing Jerrod and me, and smiles so big when Jerrod comes home from work... it's adorable. During bath time he is super chill, and just sits there. We usually play music and jam out with him while we are bathing him. He's nursing great, and obviously gaining weight so I am very thankful for that! We also moved him to his nursery at around 7 weeks old to sleep in his rock n play in there. It was hard on me the 1st night, but got easier each night after that. We also started letting him nap in his crib around 6 weeks old. He did great as long as he was swaddled. Here are lots of pictures from his 2nd month of life :) We love him so!
